NYC musical collective presents 'of the rails' complex grooves, poetic hip-hop, high-octane vocals, and instrumental solos for a cutting-edge concert experience.

Hailed as “one of New York’s finest interdisciplinary acts” (American Composers Forum), ShoutHouse is a New York-based collective founded by composer and pianist Will Healy in 2014. With a core roster of a dozen musicians, ShoutHouse has formed a large community of artists that come together to present cutting-edge concert experiences that are redefining the boundaries of genre. They have recently been featured on The Kennedy Center's Millennium Stage, National Sawdust’s Resonator Festival, Harlem Arts Festival, the Brooklyn Academy of Music, the Cooper Hewitt Museum’s summer concert series, and on 44 Charlton at The Greene Space, where hostJulian Fleisher said,“this is one of my favorite acts we’ve ever had on the show.”

ShoutHouse’s debut full-length album, Cityscapes, was released on New Amsterdam Records in June 2019. Their self-titled EP was featured on radio programs around the world,  including WNYC’s “New Sounds” with John Schaefer, WBAI’s “Making Music” with Jordan Maclean, and on the I Care If You Listen mixtape. ShoutHouse has received support from the Brooklyn Arts Fund, the Jerome Fund for New Music, the Queens Arts Council, the Sparkplug Foundation, and others. They have led educational workshops at the Juilliard School, Manhattan School of Music, and Special Music School at the Kaufman Center.
